– 78% of freelancers will join the UK in 2022
The Cool Company’s strong growth journey continues through August. In Great Britain, a massive growth of 116 per cent was reported, while the influx of new freelancers increased by about 78 per cent during the year. The entire company is growing by 28 percent compared to the same period last year.
The Cool Company’s freelance UK operations have always had a proven track record. August 2022 is no exception, and growth has reached a whopping 116%. The great success of the company in Great Britain is due, among other things, to the significant increase in the number of users during the year. Since the beginning of the year, nearly 78 percent of self-employed people have joined The Cool Company, compared to the same period last year. In addition, freelancers are billing higher amounts this year, and the value of bills sent in the UK increased by 26 per cent.
The majority of users in the UK are active in industries such as business, construction and education. Likewise, these are the industries that have grown the most in 2022 so far. When it comes to the most popular freelance professions in the UK, the management consultant tops the list, followed by educational planners and construction workers.
We see that our UK solution has paid off, more people are joining us and the self-employed are increasingly profitable. This shows that we are already doing the right things at the moment, while at the same time we have more planning for our continued growth in the UK, says Jonny Simonson, Chief Financial Officer at The Cool Company.
Strong growth of the entire Cool Company group
The Cool Company group continues to grow and when August closes, the company can announce that it is growing up to 28 percent compared to the same period last year. In Sweden, the growth is up to 20 percent and in Norway the increase is up to 84 percent compared to August last year. For The Cool Company’s B2B operations, strong numbers are coming in for another month and in August the growth is a whopping 59% compared to August 2021.
– In general, we are growing steadily in all markets month by month. We have insight into what is needed for different markets and adapt our solution accordingly. Plus, we have enough power to help our commercial clients take a step outside of Sweden, says Jonny Simonson.
