Welcome,
I recently replaced my graphics card from 6650xt to 4070 Super.
Then, I have concerns, when I sometimes start playing games, the computer crashes.
Games like CS2 Crashes, Path of Exile (crashes sometimes), and Wow does not crash.
Fortnite crashes 50/50 and all games that crash, crash initially when you start the game.
Computer:
Processor: Ryzen 5 7600x
Cooler: NZXT Kraken Elite RGB 240
Graphics Card: GeForce RTX 4070 Super
Motherboard: TUF Gaming X670E-Plus
Internal Memory: DDR5 6000MHz Corsair 32GB
Storage: Kingston 1TB m2
Power rating: Seasonal 750W
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11 Home
BIOS Version and Date: American Megatrends Inc. 0613, 2022-09-22
I did not overclock anything.
When I check the log I get
ACPI
The embedded controller (EC) did not respond within the specified timeout. This could be due to errors in the controller hardware or firmware, or because the BIOS is using the controller incorrectly. You should ask your computer manufacturer to upgrade the BIOS. In some cases, this error can cause the computer to not work properly.
Nuclear energy (critical)
The computer was restarted without shutting it down properly first. This error can occur if the system stops responding, crashes, or the power is lost unexpectedly.
I tried different wall outlets to rule this out.
Update Windows Max XAT. Update motherboard, CPU, graphics card. Remove old graphics card drivers.
My computer is around 65-75 degrees on the CPU and around 40 degrees on the GPU.
When checking “NZXT Cam”, my computer is using the integrated graphics card “AMD Radeon” more than 4070 super. Should I disable it?
