Here’s a clip where NASA tells more about the different types of wind conditions prevailing on Mars and how to study them.
The clip shows, among other things, tornadoes photographed by NASA’s Mars Perserverance rover. Just like on Earth, there are different wind conditions depending on where you look on Mars. Among other things, we can also check how Martian dust settles on NASA’s stationary Mars spacecraft InSight, which means InSights will likely stop working soon. If you can blow a little more around InSigth, the solar panels will probably be cleaned of dust, and then perhaps the craft can have a slightly longer life.
The whole feature is worth checking out, but if you just want to check out the whirlwinds of perseverance in Jezerocrat, you can jump to 2:10 in the clip above.
