Caroline Ostrand has been appointed as the new CEO of MTR Nordic AB, so she gets it Responsibility for MTR operations in the north. Caroline Ostrand, who is currently CEO of MTR Subway, will assume her new position on August 14.
In March earlier this year, Henrik Dahlin, CEO of MTR Nordic AB, announced that after ten years at MTR, he would be leaving the company to take on a new role outside the company. It is now clear that Caroline Ostrand, current CEO of MTR Subway, will take over as CEO of MTR Nordic.
– I am delighted and honored to be given responsibility for MTR’s Nordic operations. In its fourteen years in Sweden, MTR has gone from being a company with 2,700 employees to six companies with over 6,000 employees and today is one of the largest private employers in Stockholm. I know what knowledge and leadership there is in the organization, and together we will continue to develop both our own operations and our public transport and railways in Sweden,” says Caroline Ostrand, incoming CEO of MTR Nordic AB.
Caroline Ostrand has over 20 years experience working with rail traffic, including within SJ where she worked for ten years on both long distance trains and regional traffic. In January 2020, Caroline took over as CEO of MTR Subway, a company that has been developing steadily in recent years. Under Caroline’s leadership, punctuality and customer satisfaction are at record levels.
