Kudos to the Gävle municipality, which has invested heavily in the renovation of the city streets. Beautiful new asphalt instead of pot holes and long gutters after the studs. We drive like that. But there are still some bad streets. Don't give up on renovation. Now we hope that more people will switch to a spike-free life, so that we can avoid long depressions in the streets where water collects. In Gävle, studs are not necessary at all. Here the asphalt is free most of the winter. And being spike-free copes well with ice and snow.
