TV property guru Sarah
Beeny is selling her London
mansion, a Daily Mail report says.
Beeny is said to be
selling the seven bedroomed, 4,200 sq ft Tooting Bec Common mansion for £3.5m.
The sale comes just months after she sold her Yorkshire
mansion, Rise Hall, for £1.4m.
The Daily Mails says that
Beeny and her husband are selling up and moving to their 220 acre Suffolk farm primarily as they want to relocate out of London for family
Sarah Beeny seems to have done quite well from property over the years. The report says that the Tooting Bec property only cost £450,000 in 2005, while the £1.4m Rise Hall was originally bought for £440,000 in 2001. She was also the founder and one-time director of online agent Tepilo which was merged with Emoov six months before Emoov’s collapse. So, some may wonder whether Beeny’s decision to sell up of late says anything about her confidence in the wider market.
