About the tour, Astrid S. says:
I’m back for next year’s tour – my biggest tour so far! I have been fortunate in the past two years to tour as an act of support for artists I love so much and make new friends and fans along the way. But there is something special about going on a tour as everyone in the room came to see you. I can’t wait to bring this new show onto the road with new music! It’s impossible to describe how intense, exciting, frightening and magical the tours could be. I just hope someone shows up so I can keep doing it for years and years because it makes me so happy. ”
“Astrid_S: Part One of the Global Tour” has been certified by the United Nations as officially endorsed by the United Nations “Climate Neutral Now” program. To achieve this, Astrid is collaborating with Norwegian climate company CHOOOSE to measure, reduce and offset its tour’s carbon footprint with the UN certified coal credits. This is done by financing the carefully selected wind power project to reduce carbon dioxide in Vietnam, which has been verified by the United Nations, replacing oil and coal with renewable energy and creating better opportunities for the local population. Emissions are reduced by twice the original footprint, making the tour not only climate neutral but “climate positive”.
