Apple Music It may appear, according to the Reddit post, on a file PS5 very soon.
employment Reddit users That is, upload the Apple Music image that appears under Spotify (the only music streaming service currently available on PlayStation) option in the PS5 Music menu from the Control Center.
The Apple Music option appeared after a Reddit user created a new account on his PS5. But after clicking on the Apple Music icon, PS5 display an error message that “This app can only be played on PS4”.
Obviously, this is the default error message the PS5 displays when an app is missing, as many PS5 media apps are just PS4 apps running on PS5 via backwards compatibility.
Eurogamer I was also able to get the same thing done by creating a new US account, but then was unable to recreate the error message again. This has led to speculation that Sony is currently testing the feature before it is released to the public.
Collaboration between Apple and Sony continues to emerge
It shouldn’t come as a huge surprise to anyone that Apple Music is coming to Sony’s PS5, as the two companies have collaborated in the past. Apple and Sony recently partnered to deliver the show PS5 owners get a free six-month subscription to Apple TV Plus. Apple also revealed the PS5 DualSense controller at an Apple event and considered the controller a great accessory for Apple Arcade subscribers to play their games, as the controller is now compatible with Apple devices running iOS 14.5, iPadOS 14.5, tvOS 14.5, macOS 11.3 and later. You can now even buy DualSense Control Straight from the Apple Store.
Apple will hold an event on Monday, October 18th, so can we see the company seize the opportunity to mention something about Apple Music coming to PlayStation there? It would be great to have access to Apple Music on PS5, as Apple may be able to take advantage of the 3D audio functions available on PS5 to get the spatial sound from Apple Music on the console.
