Android 14 is available now – rollout begins today

After a period of beta testing and at the same time that Google is launching the new Pixel phone, it is also making Android 14 officially available.

Android 14 improves the capabilities of adjusting and customizing the appearance of various details in the system. Google Health Connect is integrated into the system in Android 14. This means that there is a place where your health applications can report data and this information is encrypted and saved locally on your phone. It’s now just a matter of more fitness and health apps actually starting to support Health Connect.

Among other news in Android 14 are new features to make it easier for the visually or hearing impaired, better control over when apps share your information, such as your location, with third parties, in addition to better handling of fonts.

The fact that Google is releasing Android 14 means that the system is available for Pixel phones that have support, all from recent years, and that other Android manufacturers are next in line. Google itself says that updates can be expected from Samsung Galaxy, Nothing, and Oneplus, as well as from Opp, Sony, Realme, and Xiaomi later this year.
