January 17, 2023 – Alstom, the global leader in smart and sustainable mobility, has been awarded the Global Top Employer 2023 certification for the first time with certifications in 22 countries, up from 15 countries in 2022.at the continental, national and global level. the It is the fourth consecutive year that the Alstom Group has received the award in Europe, the third year for the Asia Pacific and North America regions, and the first year for the Middle East. In Alstom’s recruitment strategy, special emphasis is placed on young graduates. The goal is for more than 30% of recruits to be young graduates, doctoral students or pursuing international training programs (VIE). In some countries, for example France, this has already been done.

To ensure the integration and development of young recruits, a strong internal learning culture is in place. On average, each employee is allocated 21 hours of training globally per year. The vast educational catalog is digital and can be accessed anywhere, anytime and from any type of device (computer, tablet or smartphone). Alstom University also offers virtual reality training in regional universities but also from students’ computers via the metaverse, platforms for interacting with avatars and 3D models or through the use of VR headsets.
