Right now, there’s a heat wave in many places in Sweden (and in Europe for that matter). The temperature has reached over 30 degrees and even the nights are hot and sultry. Under these conditions, it is of course difficult to fall asleep.

Many, over the years, have tested ways to cool their bedrooms — and themselves. It could be about cooling the bed with freezer lamps, or sleeping with a pet ice water bottle. But there is a smarter trick. The trick that cools a room in seconds – and keeps it cold for a long time. Let us tell you more…

Air conditioning is usually expensive. And in Sweden, it is needed only during the summer months. In short: not economical. But this tip is as good as air conditioning – but it’s much cheaper. Almost free actually! All you need is a regular table fan and a bag of ice cubes. You freeze the water in the bag in the form of ice, install it in the fan and voila: cold air flows towards you.

The trick is taken from the TikTok video platform. TikTok user Emily Jane, posting under the username @emilymagowan, recently demonstrated, via video, how to cool down your home — in no time.
