The blue and yellow ramps hope to help get more Swedish fans into the match against Ukraine in Glasgow. Only UK residents and fans who have been quarantined there for at least ten days are allowed to go to the match, so Victor Nelson Lindelof has opted to compete for tickets on his social media.
– I’ve had a number of inquiries, I hope a little more will be specified so we can get as many as possible. Mickey (Lustig) played in Scotland so he could check it out.
Get 240 tickets
Mikael Lustig has already played in Scotland, just over seven years at Celtic, but it’s not just the entry rules that mean there will be a few Swedes.
Unfortunately, we don’t have many tickets to work with. We can only hope that the federation can solve more through UEFA. We got about 240 tickets. It’s not much, Lustig says, but we’re doing what we can.
Crowds are important to Swedish players, as is the case in St. Petersburg enjoyed great support from the public.
– It’s very important. That’s why I felt like I wanted to do something and get as many Swedes out there as possible, says Victor Nilsson Lindelof.
You can buy for your money
– I try to get as many (tickets) as possible. Everyone on the team should first get as many as they want. But if it is over, I will choose for myself everything I can.
If there are more people willing to get tickets than he can meet through the union, then Nelson Lindelof is no stranger to buying more for his own money.
“If you get enough people together and those tickets run out, I have no problem fixing anyone else if it should work,” he says.
