With the launch of the Radeon RX 6000 series last year, AMD has exceeded many expectations and managed to compete at Level 1 for the first time in a long time. First came the Radeon RX 6800 and RX 6800 XT, which was later followed by the flagship RX 6900 XT. The common graphic circuit among these circuits was Navi 21 where things like number of active cores and Penning Disconnect the graphics cards.
During the year, Sapphire, Powercolor and Asrock launched the Radeon RX 6900 XT with what is said to be an XTX variant of the Navi 21 graphics circuit, with an even higher one. Penning Than the normal RX 6900 XT. What this practically means is that these circuits are of better quality, which can handle higher clock frequencies at lower voltages than the Navi 21 in the regular RX 6900 XT.
Photos of the AMD variant of the Radeon RX 6900 XTX are now posted. The graphics card in the photo is said to be an early engineering version, and AMD chose not to release it. Like previous flagships like the RX Vega 64 Liquid Edition and the R9 Fury X, the graphics card has a full coverage fanless housing and is instead cooled by a sealed water cooler with a 120mm cooler.
It is not known why the AMD Radeon RX 6900 XTX was shelved, but a non-existent availability is believed to be the cause, and thus they have chosen the version of the few circuits available to the partner manufacturers.
