The Intel Core Ultra 9 295K may have been unveiled by Intel itself

Intel may have another Arrow Lake processor on the way in the form of the Core Ultra 9 295K. This is listed on Intel's website, but it could also be a simple typo.

Intel's new naming system for its processors may not be the easiest to understand. Anyway, the flagship of the recently launched Arrow Lake family is the Core Ultra 9 285K. This offers a total of 24 cores and a clock frequency that extends up to 5.7 GHz.

Now it seems that the previously unknown processor could become the actual flagship of the series. Via its website, Intel lists the “295K” as an example of a Core Ultra processor for desktop computers. Unfortunately, no more information is shared than that.

It's not impossible that it was all about a simple typo and it should actually be 285 thousand, not 295K. The Core Ultra 9 295K may also turn into a special edition like previous Intel models with KS. However, how much higher clock rates Intel can extract from its new processors without destroying the power efficiency that has been the main focus of this generation is not entirely clear.

For now we can only wait and see. Since Intel itself has not confirmed any Core Ultra 9 295K processor, it is recommended to take the information with a pinch of salt. After all, we've only seen one version of the name so far.
