Berg and Jennings present a presentation on menstruation – creating a religion

After a 19-year friendship and a successful podcast, radar duo Karina Berg and Karolina Jenning are on tour with their new show “Begynnelsen.”
It's about the menstrual cycle.
– You are at least four different people in one month, says Karina Berg in Nehitsmorgon.

Tickets for the show were released before the script began and sold out in minutes. The show's title, “The Beginning,” is a nod to fans who chose to call themselves “Beginners.”

– Our podcast listeners felt like they were part of a community and wanted a name. In the end, they agreed on “Beginners,” which meant the step of naming the show “Beginnelsen” was short, says Karina.

New religion

The common thread in the show is that the duo has created their own “religion,” which they want to introduce the audience to. The religion encompasses everything that is part of being a woman, a mother, a partner, and finding yourself.

“There will be singing, dancing and nonsense,” says Karina, and Carolina adds:

– Lots of scraps and fire.

Learn about the menstrual cycle

An essential part of the performance is reviewing the different phases of the menstrual cycle: menstruation, neutral week, ovulation and menstruation. A topic that Karina Berg and Carolina Jennings often discuss on their podcast.

“There are a few religions that take into account the menstrual cycle and how our moods are affected during different times of the month,” explains Karina.

However, the offer welcomes everyone, regardless of whether or not you have your own menstrual cycle.

“You can enjoy this offer if you have a bicycle, live with someone who does, or simply want to learn more,” Karina says in conclusion.
