The library is not just a place for paper books. Today’s library offers many digital services, such as the opportunity to borrow e -books and audio books.
In other words, you do not have to pay for expensive subscription services such as Storytel and Bookbeat, but you can read free using your library card.
Are there e -books everywhere?
However, there is a problem, and it revolves around access. Libraries are not obligated to provide e -books, so in some municipalities this opportunity is missing. The solution may be to get a library card in the neighboring city. What is Balio?
The third problem lies in the technology itself. Various libraries contain different solutions – and may not work on all units. The most widely used service is called Biblio, and it works wonderfully in mobile phones, tablets and other devices that run Android and iOS. However, there is no version for clean e -book readers (tablets).
As you can see in our guide, Biblio in a web version works great on computers, but it is not adapted to simple browsers included in some tablets. At the time of writing this report, the Biblio Web version does not work on PocketBook units or cobo tested by the personal computer for everyone. However, this can change in the long run, and you can have a browser reader if Biblio is working on it.
How do I start?

To use Biblio, you should get a loan and a quarter of a biblian -connected library. You can then reach Biblio in two ways:
- Browser. Browse Biblio.app In Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge, for example.
- Mobile phone/tablet. Search for Balio from Wedboooks in Google Play Store (Android) or App Store (iOS). Install and open the application.
The login box is displayed the first time you open. If you want to explore the service without logging in, you can log in.

Where do I log in?
