Qvantum appoints Philip Ord as CEO of UK operations

Philip Ord, who has extensive operations experience in both heating and cooling, has been appointed CEO of Swedish heat pump manufacturer Qvantum, which operates in the UK.

The need for modern, connected and modular fossil fuel-free heating and cooling systems is growing across Europe, not least in the UK. Philip Ord brings extensive experience from heating systems sales at Mitsubishi Electric, and his mission will be to make Qvantum a trusted partner for both new build and new installations in properties across the UK.

“Qvantum offers innovative heat pump systems that are completely different from the solutions we know today. I am confident that Philip will help us realize our vision.” Create fossil fuel-free heating for many people. “, says Jesper Jarnhol, Global Marketing Director at Qvantum.

Qvantum doesn't just sell traditional heat pumps, they make heat pumps part of a larger system. In the future, the heat pump from the new modular Qvantum platform will also be able to contribute to balancing the local electricity grid.

“Being part of a forward-thinking company like Qvantum makes me incredibly excited,” says Philip Ord.

“Using heat pumps as heat batteries as Qvantum does – either individually or in combinations – is absolutely revolutionary to me. Who wouldn’t want to be on a journey like this?
