However, Inaba can’t fully comment on everything, as Square Enix is the publisher, but says they learned a lesson. He adds that that won’t stop them from creating new live service games in the future. Inaba can’t be completely transparent which is something he doesn’t like. The frustration of not having full control of the game is clear: ‘Limited to development’. He adds however:
The only thing we can comment on here regarding the shutdown of the Babylon’s Fall service itself, is that this unfortunate conclusion may have been something that sparked some frustration, perhaps even anger, for our dedicated fans and gamers.
