6 wireless in-ear headphones for training

The best exercise is the one that finishes. And my personal experience is that I have to make the inspiration myself – don’t wait for it. A pair of headphones that fit my ears well, are easy to use and have the ability to reproduce my favorite music, will go a long way for me. And even if there is neither motivation nor desire from the start, training takes place.

So, what does it mean then the couple Good Training headphones? Fit, of course, is a matter of course. They should sit well enough in the ears so that they do not fall out, but at the same time they should not sit so hard/fixed that it hurts them. The focus should ideally be on the training itself and not on the repair and playing tricks with the headphones!

Personally, I think it’s a problem not being able to try the earphones before buying (in most cases anyway). Of course, it is about hygiene, but at the same time it is extremely important that the plug does not fall out or hurt. Music reproduction can be as good as you like if you still avoid using it because you either lose it every now and then or because your ears hurt because the earplugs don’t fit in your ears at all. Which is very boring if you spend between 1000-2000 kr per pair.

It may, of course, be the case that you have many different headphones for different occasions. A pair when you get to and from work, another pair on the running track, a third pair when you’re sitting at home on the couch with a glass of red in your hand and pod in the ears. But my experience is that it’s not at all like that, but in nine cases out of ten you own a pair of headphones that can work with everything. This also increases the importance of rinsing the headphones and thus keeping them new.

The music is a subjective experience and the taste is like a butt…some prefer the rumble and bass while others want a treble that almost cuts the ears. Of course, this means that mobile phones where the sound can be adapted to your desires and preferences are preferable.

This is how I tested it

All sockets are used with my mobile phone and must keep up with daily life. They were allowed to join in on sweaty training sessions, yoga, and quieter walks. It was important here that they sat comfortably in the ears, and did not risk falling or causing pain.

It is also important that it is easy to use and has not diverted the focus from the task itself – the training session.

I’ve played music from various streaming services and although I mainly chose audition as training headphones, I also listened to audiobooks. In most cases (all?), it is possible to adapt the sound image to personal taste, but sometimes this is not enough anyway. Personally, I want a playful earplug that conveys commitment, dynamism, and drive rather than 100 percent “correct” music reproduction.

Plugs are used both indoors and outdoors and I’ve also used them for mobile phone calls, with varying degrees of success.
