MUSEEA exhibition design by Röda Sten Konsthalls We are the remix (2017) Shortlisted for the final round of the Dezeen Architecture & Design Competition for Best Interior Design in the “Small Interior” category.
Artist and Design Duo museum It consists of Sofia Hedman and Serge Martynov who together created the installation. We are the remix As part of the 2017 Röda Sten Konsthall summer exhibition of the same name. The installation consists of a large architectural design where the room has been transformed into a meeting place with several different levels and floors. The MUSEEA installation competes with Pump Station by Johnson Naylor (UK), XS House 2018 by PhoebeSayswow Architects Ltd. (China), Refettorio Felix by Studioilse (UK), and The Lookout by Note Design Studio (Sweden).

We are the remix It was an exciting and challenging project at the same time, but everything was made easy by the wonderful team at Röda Sten Konsthall. In addition, the unique exhibition room of the art gallery is a very inspiring environment to work in. It is also worth mentioning that we are very happy that we were able to find a new home for 80% of the materials used in the exhibition – with as little waste as possible! says Sofia Hedman.
Design and Architecture Magazine Design Magazine Launched in 2006, it now has over 2 million monthly readers. The Dezeen New Project Awards will be held annually from 2018 and this year’s winners will be chosen by a jury of 33 designers and architects, including renowned Jürgen Mayer H, Michel Rogkind, Beck Britten and Seeley Raby Keane. The ceremony will take place on 27 November at Ennismore Sessions House in London.

Located in Sweden, We are the remix Explores the formation of identities through moving images and music. Drawing on genres such as music video, documentary, performance and animation, the exhibition remixes human history, imagined futures and dream worlds from around the world. MUSEEA was commissioned by Röda Sten Konsthall to create an immersive exhibition design and installation. In keeping with the curatorial theme, MUSEEA designed a miniature cityscape that embraces togetherness and celebrates diversity and borderlessness – a welcoming structure where people come together and share experiences.
